How to ContributeThis is a featured page

The purpose of this site is to inform people about the plants and animals that can be found in our environmental center.

This page has a list of species that we have identified in the area. We will create a species profile for each item on the list. Some of this can be done in class, but some can also be done outside of class. Working on the site outside of class will earn you extra credit toward your participation grade and my thanks.

Each species profile should contain:
-Common Name
-Scientific Name
-Basic Information about the Species
-References**

**Each species profile should have references. Anytime you look at or use information you have to reference it. Record the book name, author, and year of publication or the website were you found the information you used. Please, never copy or use words, images, videos, or sounds without permission or referencing.

Visit the other pages in the How-to-contribute section for more detailed instructions.
