The students all have responded so well to our time in the environmental center; we wanted to expand their learning based on their interests. We decide to create the on line nature guide you see here. We will add to the site in class, but encourage students to add to and make improvements as often as they can.

This nature guide will give the students a chance to learn about and explore ecosystems in a real and an authentic way. The students will have to research and relay the information they learned in a forum visible to the world. It is our hope that this will give the students great pride in the work they do, while giving them extra practice writing scientifically.
